It has undertaken many oil refinery and chemical engineering projects in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Katar, Kazakhstan, Nigeria, Singapore, Bangladesh, etc. and acquired fixed client group and fine international acclaim.

The corporation has been pursuing an internationalized strategy and striving for global development. During the last five years, SEG international contract implementation sum totaled 12 billion US dollars, with scores of international projects undertaken, covering such types as scientific research, technical consultation, technical export, EPC overall contracting and construction overall contracting. Major projects include Kazakhstan petroleum deep processing, US PTA/PET, Malaysia State Petroleum Corporation RAPID refinery plant residual oil hydrogenation, Thailand IRPC Corporation polypropylene, Kuwait new refinery plant. Particularly, SEG has long been working intensively in Saudi Arabia. Beside Yanbu refinery plants, it has in recent years completed SABIC Jubail Harbor logistics project, IBNRUSHD Corporation PET project, Kanyan NDA project, SABIC new transforming station project and Saudi Mining Corporation’s Sulfur project, the last being under construction. SEG hopes and believes that it will have wider and deeper cooperation with Saudi Arabia in the future.

As the strategy of “The Belt and Road” is implemented, SEG works intensively in refinery engineering market in Middle East, South East Asia and other “The Belt and Road” countries, and on the basis of advanced and reliable technique, scientific and regular management and highly competitive quality-price ratio, provides whole-course overall-contact service ranging from technique package to driving trial operation, winning wide international acclaim. The group attaches great importance to internationalized development in the refinery engineering sector and strives to make oil refinery chemical engineering technique and equipment the third national name card after high-speed rail and nuclear power.
