Sinopec Nanjing Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred as SEG Nanjing for short) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sinopec Engineering (Group) Co., Ltd., and it used to be Nanjing Design Institute which was founded in 1958. Dominated with design, with cores of patent, specialized technologies and technology development, and focusing on EPC, project management and specialized construction, SEG Nanjing is a comprehensive and integrated international engineering corporation providing technology and management services to the domestic and foreign markets.
25 design majors are set up in SEG Nanjing, which basically include all engineering: technical system, pipeline engineering, environmental engineering, equipment machinery, electrical auto-control, thermal power engineering, bulk materials engineering, etc. The professional field involves modern coal chemical industry, natural gas chemical industry, coal-electricity integration, carbon1-chemical industry and its extending products, petrochemical industry, environmental engineering, clean energy, inorganic chemical industry like thionazin and catalyst, etc., industrial and civil construction, etc., which are important to petrochemical industry, fine chemical industry, inorganic chemical industry, and basic chemical industry fields in China.
SEG Nanjing engages in construction and construction management of large hoisting, installation of large unit, installation of large tank, installation of large DCS/ESD, welding of special material, etc. It has clear advantages in engineering construction of catalytic cracking, hydrocrack, reorganization, PX, PTA, large tank, low-temperature storage engineering, etc., and it has completed construction of many set of foreign supergiant devices in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Singapore, etc.
As a high-tech enterprise, SEG Nanjing has over 120 patents and specialized technologies, and formulated more than 1,000 national and industrial standards and regulations and industrial laws. The National Technical Center of Sulfuric Acid and Phosphorus Fertilizer Design and the National Technical Station of Chemical Industrial Bulk Materials Engineering are set up in SNEI, and the national journal-- Sulphur Phosphorus & Bulk Materials Handling Related Engineering is published regularly.
