Sinopec Ningbo Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred as SEG Ningbo for short) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sinopec Engineering (Group) Co., Ltd., which was co-founded by Sinopec Lanzhou Design Institute (which used to be the 5th Design Institute of Ministry of Chemical Industry) and the previous Sinopec 3rd Construction Corporation. Dominated with technology, on the basis of design, and focusing on engineering contracting and project management, integrated with S&T development, engineering design, equipment manufacturing, device construction and maintenance, SEG Ningbo has patents and special technologies, and it faces to both national and international markets. It is a versatile engineering company engaging in consultation, design, EPC, manufacturing and professional construction EPC and management in many fields such as energy, environmental protection, petrochemical industry, thermal power engineering, etc.
SEG Ningbo has been rewarded with level-A qualification certificate of comprehensive engineering design, superfine qualification certificate of petrochemical EPC, level-A qualification certificates of engineering consultation, engineering cost consultation and environmental influence assessment, qualification certificate of foreign contract engineering, level A1&A2&A3 pressure vessel design, manufacturing license, pressure pipeline design, installation license, licenses for installation, reconstruction and maintenance of boiler and hoisting machinery, license of ASME pressure vessel “U”-shaped embossed stamp and license of power boiler “S”-shaped embossed stamp, etc.

SEG Ningbo has over 2,800 employees, among which, there are 6 industrial design masters, 497 employees with senior or higher title, 886 employees with medium-grade professional titles, and over 700 managers and technicians. It has completed the engineering designs, EPC and constructions of over 1,000 sets of devices regarding post-processing of oil refining, ethylene and olefins, ammonia synthesis, urea, coal gasification, methylate, acetic acid, acrylonitrile, polyolefins, synthetic rubber devices, etc. It has been rewarded with 4 awards of national EPC Golden Key, Silver Key and Copper Key, 25 National Science Conference Award and National Excellent Design Award, etc., 12 National Excellent Engineering Awards; 260 projects have been rewarded with provincial and ministerial S&T progress, excellent design, excellent engineering awards, etc. The company has built nice cooperation with many clients at home and aboard and it has earned nice reputation and built positive image in the market and society with reasonable construction period, excellent engineering quality, thoughtful service and high sense of social responsibility.
