Founded in 1953, Sinopec Engineering Incorporation is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sinopec Engineering (Group) Co., Ltd. and the first design entity engaging in petroleum refining and petrochemical engineering in China. It has been rewarded with the national level-A engineering design comprehensive qualification certificate so it could provide one-stop service covering from engineering consultation, technical permit, engineering design, project management to EPC by focusing on engineering R&D and design of oil refining, chemical engineering and natural gas. There are over 2,100 people in the company, among which, there are 2 Academicians of China Engineering Academy, 5 national investigation and designers, 10 industrial designers, over 100 employees with professor title and over 1,300 employees with senior title.

Sinopec Engineering Incorporation adheres to the mission of “paint petrochemical great blueprint with excellent engineering” and creates glorious engineering achievement. Sinopec Engineering Incorporation has completed over 2,000 Sets of oil refining and engineering consultation, design and EPC of petrochemical unit one by one, especially since the 21st century, it has built modern refining factory represented with SEG Hainan, modern ethylene plant represented with Wuhan Ethylene Company, and integrated enterprise represented with SEG Fujian, peracid natural gas processing plant represented with Puguang Natural Gas Purification Plant, petroleum and natural gas storage facilities represented with national petroleum warehouse, and oversea refining & chemical company represented with Arak Refining & Chemical Limited Company. It has accumulated rich engineering design and management experience and cultivated a batch of excellent technical and management specialists. It has been rewarded with 47 national excellent design awards, 10 excellent engineering awards and 17 excellent engineering EPC awards.

Sinopec Engineering Incorporation is always focusing on transferring to technical innovation and advanced refining and chemical technology and it has special advantages of all refining kinds represented with catalytic cracking series, major chemistry products represented with ethylene and polyolefin, petroleum resources replacements represented with purification of high sulfur natural gas, coal-to-oil, biodiesel, etc., quality upgrading and comprehensive application of energy represented with refined petroleum, and S&D and industrial application of energy-saving and environmental protection technology. It has been rewarded with 76 national S&T progress awards, among which, there are 3 special awards; it has been rewarded with about 500 valid patents and 150 special technologies.

Sinopec Engineering Incorporation is always contributing to planning in early stage and engineering consultation and it has completed overall planning of a batch of refining & chemical bases in Fujian, Tianjin, Huizhou, Quanzhou, Caojing, etc. It could provide factory design and overall procedure optimization, energy-saving optimization of the factory, factory diagnosis and consultation as well as integrated solution so as to help many petrochemical enterprises to realize quality improvement and profit upgrading.
