SEM signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement with the SINOPEC Maoming Petrochemical Company(SMPC) recently, marking the beginning of a long-term collaboration in energy-saving technology consulting and revamp. This partnership aims to establish a mutually beneficial and sustainable strategic alliance.

With the background of energy conservation, carbon reduction, and green development, the cooperation will be carried out in 2 modes. One is by providing professional consultant and solution regarding the pain points and shortcomings of the enterprise. The other is by energy-saving technology optimization, transforming identified energy-saving projects into energy management projects.

Since 2018, the SEM has implemented energy management projects for SINOPEC Maoming Petrochemical Company, achieving annual savings of 140,000 tons standard coal and reducing of by 300,000 tons carbon dioxide. These projects have made significant energy-saving effects and have been highly recognized by the client.

In the future, SEM will continue to provide comprehensive energy system optimization and upgrade services for energy-consuming enterprises, including integrated efficiency improvements for existing and new units. Through precise and effective energy-saving solutions, the collaboration aims to improve energy efficiency and support high-quality development of the enterprise. Meanwhile, this collaboration will facilitate SEG’s sustainable development and also will contribute to achieve the dual-carbon goals of SINOPEC and the nation.
