On July 3, SEG general manager Xiang Wenwu met with adelegation headed by ambassador of UAE to China Dr. Ali Al Dhaheri, at theaccompany by persons-in-charge of international business unit and LuoyangEngineering Co., Ltd. The two sides had talks over the future planning of UAEmarkets and how SEG is to enter into UAE markets.

Ambassador Ali Al Dhaheri said that he was glad to visit SEG,and introduced UAE government’s long-term plans for downstream projects ofpetrochemical industry. He hoped that SEG would engage in UAE’s petrochemicalconstruction in large scale, and said that UAE embassy would provide supportand coordination for SEG’s engagement in the project construction of UAE’spetrochemical industry and other fields. Xiang Wenwu welcomed Dr. Ali AlDhaheri and noted that SEG has paid high attention to UAE markets and iswilling to engage in the project construction of UAE’s petrochemical industrywith the support of the ambassador and to provide fine engineering service forUAE’s petrochemical projects. SEG would like to make contributions to the long-timedevelopment of the friendship between China and UAE.
