On the meeting for scientific and technological activities held by Sinopec on Mar 21, 2017, 16 innovative projects of the company won Technical Invention Prize and Scientific and Technological Progress Prize in Sinopec in 2016, where Gold Medal Prize was awarded to LPEC for its technical development for “New Type of Regeneration and Accessory Facilities for Continued Reforming Process”, SEI for the “160KTPA Butadiene Extraction Technology by Using Acetonitrile”, “Packaged Technical Development for Gas-Liquid Fluidized Bed Based PE Process” and “Study and Manufacturing of Charge Gas Compressor for 1 Million t/a Ethylene Complex” developed by him or where he was involved in the development thereof and Nanjing Engineering Co for Study and Development of Water Pollution Treatment Project in Nanjing Chemical Co it participated in. A Silver Medal Prize for technical inventions was awarded to SEI for the “Technical Development of a New Type of Highly Efficient Anaerobic Reactor and Biology-Expanded Bed”, who was involved in development thereof. Besides, six Silver Medal Prizes for Scientific and Technological Progress and four Bronze Medal Prizes were also awarded to the company.
