The Corporate ERP Program Promoted in full Swing



With close-out of monthly financial accounts settlement in pilot organizations covered by the corporate ERP program in the beginning of the new year, on-line operation of ERP and surrounding systems in pilot organizations also concluded successfully. According to the overall corporate executive plan for ERP and PMO, ERP system will, by drawing upon experience from pilot organizations, be promoted rapidly in engineering companies and R&D centers including Shanghai Engineering Co (1st lot) and construction organizations and freight forwarders including No 4 Construction Company (2nd lot). As focus of the corporate activities I 2017, ERP construction aims to promote consecutively in-depth integration of standardization and informatization, improve comprehensively in application and efficiency of informatization for refining and chemical project so as to provide support to world-class competency in the field.

During Dec 12-Dec 23, 2016, the company convened a meeting to align the promotion, implementation and demand for templates in the first lot of the organization among which the ERP program for refining and chemical projects is promoted. Attendees to the meeting included nearly 120 key business personnel from relevant corporate departments, Guangzhou Engineering Co, Shanghai Engineering Co, Ningbo Engineering Co, Nanjing Engineering Co, R&D Center and consultants on development. The meeting made a CRP demonstration by combining with business scenarios for typical projects (EPC project and projects for design consultancy and investment cost etc.) in pilot organizations and explanations for BW and AIS by combining with management statements and management cockpit. Apart from distribution of a data collection template with data, the meeting also clarified the templates for data collection (dynamic /static), authority collection, review and approval flow collection and new project initialization.

During Jan 9-Jan 20, 2017, the company convened a meeting for template test and training for the first lot of organizations among which ERP program for refining and chemical projects would be promoted. Attendees to the meeting include 150 key business personnel from the corporate Informatization Management Dept, Guangzhou Engineering Co, Shanghai Engineering Co, Ningbo Engineering Co, Nanjing Engineering Co, R&D Center and consultants on development. The meeting performed business scenario test for ERP module and integrated business scenario test for cross-modules, arranged training for key users and reviewed the first edition of data collected. In the meantime, the meeting also reported ERP activities and promotion thereof to top management of organizations including Nanjing Engineering Co etc. where ERP was promoted.

To respond the general requirements for large-scale ERP centralization specified by the group company, the company will, by focusing on its core business, refine its project cost accounting, turn ERP into a most fundamental platform for management, integrate the system for human, property and material control as well as flows for information, materials, and funds so as to build a engineering entity-oriented ERP system model covering the whole industry chain consisting of design, procurement, construction and manufacturing.
