The 2016 SEG summary meeting of safety and quality inspection was held on November 29 at Beijing. The meeting was attended by SEG leaders Lu Dong, Xiang Wenwu, Jia Yiqun, Sang Jinghua, Deng Qunwei, the heads of related SEG departments, and the related personnel from the affiliated companies, including leaders in charge of quality and safety, chief safety supervisor, and responsible persons from safety, quality and design departments. Mr. Xiang Wenwu moderated the meeting.

The meeting includes the report on 2016 annual safety inspection, welding quality inspection and the intrinsic safety inspection of engineering design. An intensive discussion was carried out around the spotted problems with regard to safety, quality and intrinsic safety as well as corresponding preliminary work plan for 2017. Suggestions were given on how to improve overall safety and quality management levels and ensure intrinsic safety.

The meeting required that the related affiliates and departments shall publicize and implement the contents of the meeting, conduct an analysis on spotted problems and formulate corresponding solutions on practical basis; and shall develop detailed work plans on safety and quality targeting at improving overall safety and quality management levels.
