The analysis meeting for economic activities in the past three quarters of 2016 was held on October 25 at SEG. Attendants of the meeting include Mr. Ling Yiqun, vice president of Sinopec Corp., the on-duty leaders and department heads of SEG, and the principle leaders, branch leaders and department heads of affiliated companies.
The meeting was held to give an analysis of how the company’s production and operation was going on in the past three quarters and how the economic indexes were realized. In addition, it had a summary of how the cost reduction and efficiency improvement activities in the past three quarters were carried out and what results have been achieved, as well as how the annual indexes of 2016 were completed and what problems were found. Also, the production and operation plan and financial budget for 2017 was discussed, and the work plan for the coming stage was announced.
Mr. Ludong pointed out that, in face of complicated and tough market situation, the company worked hard but did great through great efforts in market expansion, potential tapping and efficiency improving based on sci-tech development and optimized resources configuration.
Mr. Lu required that in order to achieve the targeted tasks of the year, work safety shall be regarded as a top priority, production and operation management shall be absolutely strict and profits shall be maximized while party members shall play an exemplary and vanguard role and more efforts shall made maintain clean and honest administration.
Mr. Ling emphasized that, it’s necessary to understand how hard the situation is and bear in mind our responsibilities and missions. And it’s important to make full use of the institutional advantages of SEG as a listed company as well as the integrated advantages of SEG coming from the integration of eight competitive companies. SEG shall strive to establish a recognized reputation for “going global”, play the leading role in developing domestic refining-chemical projects and be a pioneer in implementing the country’s “one belt and one road” strategy. SEG shall try to improve efficiency through restructuring based on unified thought and higher awareness. SEG employees shall clearly understand the general situation and trend, have more communication and exchanges both in work and ideology and learn to think from other’s place. Apart from that, joint efforts are essential for achieve the targeted tasks. The SEG home office shall play an exemplary role and increase coordination and services. SEG shall be a community of shared future where the employees always work together in spite of ups and downs.
