Massive low temperature storage tank construction technique was improved, with the 80,000 cubic meters double-metal low-temperature storage tank being the largest of its kind at home.

A number of techniques including special material welding technique and high pressure thick wall tube automatic welding were applied, and special material (Ni alloy, hafnium alloy, zirconium, titanium alloy, aluminum magnesium alloy, double phase stainless steel, high strength steel, 9% Ni steel) welding art and welding technique occupied the leading place in the sector.

Bulk items arrival massive compressor unit installation, adjusting construction technique and multi-discipline comprehensive management and control technique concerning such unit operation parts as art, equipment and polarization instruments were applied and promoted, well shortening installation and adjustment period. During the period of the twelfth five-year plan, 10 state-level work methods including “16×104m3 low temperature storage tank installation construction work method” were acquired; 80 province (ministry)-level work methods including “process line plant preparation construction work method” and “ocean petrol engineering module construction work method”, and “pipeline automatic welding work method” was credited as state-level work method class I; at the same time 163 items of corporation-level were successfully designed. Up to now there are 516 items of work method in total that are acquired, including 17 items of state-level work method, 136 items of province and ministry-level work method, and 363 items of corporation-level work method.
